Josh Guha
Developer + Web3, DeFi, and NFT
Hi there
Hi, I’m Josh 👋
I’m a full-stack Ethereum developer working remotely from London. I have a background in Economics from the University of Cambridge and I’m a self-taught engineer.
I love everything DeFi and crypto and work at the intersection between computer science and economics! My particular areas of interest are automated market makers and auctions.
Feel free to contact me at joshguha@gmail.com.
Gyroscope
Next generation stablecoin with ground-breaking design. The protocol currently has around $30M in TVL.
I work on testing and developing our proprietary stablecoin AMMs which allow for concentrated liquidity and maximised capital efficiency. I also write arbitrage trading bots to balance primary and secondary market prices.
Balancer
Balancer is a decentralized automated market maker (AMM) protocol built on Ethereum that represents a flexible building block for programmable liquidity.
I worked on implementing Gyroscope's proprietary "Elliptical Concentrated Liquidity Pool" design and led the integration of our custom pools into Balancer's Smart Order Router.
While doing some reserach into the application of auctions in the NFT space, I realised that the market-clearing auction, which has the desirable property that buyers are incentivised to bid their true valuations, can be used in the NFT-based lending market.
Current solutions are extremely capital inefficient, relying on peer-to-peer lending or on pools of capital and external price oracles which utilise collection floor prices - both of which fail to properly price the loan.
My solution allows lenders to compete to enhance capital efficiency loans and discover true market prices for NFT-based loans.
